MUSO Anti-Piracy Scanning

We offer a partnership with MUSO for anti piracy scanning. You can apply for a free MUSO account within your account.

The special MUSO account includes 8 weeks of free anti-piracy scanning for any promo campaign. During this time, the MUSO software will search the net for unauthorised copies of your audio.

If the MUSO service finds leaks of your pre-release campaigns, you are able to view the URLs of up to 50 search results at no extra cost. This allows you to tell FATdrop about any potential leaks so we can scan those files for watermarks and, if they were sent from FATdrop, we can let you know who leaked them.

You can also send legal "takedown" notices from your MUSO account. In order to do that, you will need to upgrade your MUSO campaign. The cost for upgrading is as follows:

£5.00 per month for EPs and Singles £12.50 per month for Albums

These prices include an unlimited number of takedowns.

FUGA

If you are using an integrated system (such as FUGA) for the distribution of files to DSPs (digital service providers, for example iTunes, Beatport and Juno) we can assist you in setting up FATdrop with this platform, allowing you to directly deliver campaign information in the same way. Aslice

Aslice is a service which allows DJs to upload tracklists of their sets and then donate a part of their fee to the producers whose tracks they played. In your account settings you'll find an option to send your campaign metadata to Aslice for them to use for matching purposes.

No music or other files would be sent to them, only the artist and track titles of your campaigns, so that if those tracks are played by DJs using Aslice then the producers releasing on your label could receive a part of the DJ's fee.

Dropbox

Recipients using FATdrop can link a Dropbox account to their FATdrop account, allowing them to download any promos they like straight to a Dropbox folder. This allows recipients to check their promos on a mobile device, leave feedback & download and then have the files waiting for them on their laptop or PC.
