Jova MP3 Watermarking

New - Jova Watermarking!

Jova is our brand new MP3 watermarking system - a simple, cost-effective way to send watermarked audio to your promo list. When someone downloads an MP3 promo from your FATdrop account, Jova injects an identifiable mark in the files so that the file can be identified at a later date. If you find a watermarked MP3 shared in the internet, we can scan the file and tell you who the promo was originally sent to. Jova technology is fully integrated into the control panel to make sending watermarked audio effortless.

Key Features

No effect on MP3 file
A Jova watermarked file will keep the same file size and quality as the original file. There is no effect on the decoding process so watermarked files will play as normal in any MP3 player with no change in the sound of the file.
Identifies individual file recipients
You can use Jova to identify people who may be sharing your music without permission. You can then decide how to deal with the recipient. You may wish to simply warn them or to remove them from your promo list completely or take other action.
Works with a wide range of MP3 files
As long as the MP3 file is encoded properly, and is of a certain size, it will be suitable to have Jova watermarks injected into it. The system identifies files that may cause problems with Jova and alerts you to them. If you have any problems we can advise you on how to properly encode your MP3s for Jova.
Completely Optional
It is completely up to you whether or not to send campaigns containing Jova watermarked files. Despite the transparency of the watermarks, we understand that some recipients would rather receive un-marked files so we leave this decision to our clients.
